Lebanese Legal holds an account email and, if you save searches or bookmarks, those. The law it publishes is public; the little it knows about you is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not used to profile you.
1. Who this covers
This policy covers lebaneselegal.com and the Lebanese Legal application behind sign-in. It applies to anyone who visits the site or creates an account. Lebanese Legal is the controller of the personal data described here.
2. What is collected
Account data. Your email address and the authentication records created when you sign in. Passwords are handled by the sign-in provider and are never stored by Lebanese Legal.
Content you save. Saved searches and bookmarked provisions, held against your account so you can return to them.
Server logs. Standard technical logs — IP address, request path, timestamp — kept briefly for security and debugging.
3. What is not collected
No advertising or tracking scripts run on the site. Lebanese Legal does not sell personal data, does not share it with advertisers, and does not build profiles from what you read or search.
This matters here more than on most sites: what a person searches on a legal reference can reveal their situation. Search history is not retained against your identity beyond the saved searches you explicitly create, and those are visible to you and deletable by you.
4. Why it is held, and for how long
Account data is held to provide the service you signed up for. Content you save is held until you delete it or close your account; closing the account removes both. Server logs are rotated on a short schedule and are not mined.
5. Processors
A sign-in provider handles authentication and a transactional email provider delivers account email. Infrastructure, object storage and CDN providers host the service and its backups. Each processes data only on instruction.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, for correction, for erasure, for restriction, for a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. For users in the UK or EU these are the rights the UK GDPR and EU GDPR grant; the same treatment is extended to all users wherever they are. Requests are answered within one month, and UK and EU users can complain to their supervisory authority.
